In less than two years, thanks to all of you, WoCl has grown to be the world’s largest climate community!
Many of our 7,800+ members have found climate jobs, employees, and started climate companies. Over 1,000 people have attended 60+ events and received 600+ hours of expert mentorship.
Building on this success, we are setting out to expand our impact through systemic levers, such as:
- Education: Producing content for people entering the climate workforce
- Partnerships: Partnering with organizations that have catalytic impact on the workforce—universities, job boards, placement agencies
- Research: Understanding climate workforce dynamics to focus our efforts pushing on the right levers
At the same time, we are continuing to provide the best climate community to everyone in climate who needs a community!
Our ambition is to make climate work mainstream, bringing tens of millions of people into climate jobs by 2030. We have gotten this far with an all-volunteer team and on a shoestring budget—however, we’ll bring more people into climate faster if we can have your support.
